Bala Lake Railway

Bala Lake Railway (Rheilffordd Llyn Teigd) provides an ideal centrepiece for a day’s visit to Bala Lake. The nine-mile return journey takes you alongside the lake, through the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park.

The one-hour round trip can be broken down at any of the stations to enjoy other activities – a pleasant 10-minute walk into Y Bala for shopping or merely browsing.
