The Ysgubor cottage was converted from the original haybarn in November 2019 and has now been fully renovated in a contemporary design.

The entrance hall leads to a large open plan kitchen and sitting room including large, comfortable sofas encircling a wood burning stove and a dining area with a table that can seat up to eight people. There is also a Smart TV, Wi-Fi, and books and magazines provided for your enjoyment. The well-equipped kitchen provides the perfect ‘home from home’ experience.

From the kitchen there is a door leading to the patio, which comes with a charcoal BBQ, picnic table, and two oak benches. This a great area to enjoy an al fresco meal, a glass of wine or your morning coffee, all while enjoying the spectacular views of the countryside and the Aran mountain range. On the other side of the patio you will find your own private garden with a luxury hot tub. The Ysgubor cottage, patio and garden are south facing, making it a sun trap for all you sun lovers.

The layout of the Ysgubor cottage is as follows:

GROUND FLOOR: Entrance hall, 1 x double bedroom, 1 x twin bedroom, 1 x bathroom, large open plan kitchen/sitting room with two sets of patio doors leading to a patio, garden, BBQ area and hot tub.

FIRST FLOOR: Large sitting room with a pool table, patio doors leading to a small veranda, WC, 1 x double bedroom, 1 x twin bedroom, 2 x bathrooms (both double bedrooms come with a Smart TV and both twin bedrooms come with a TV and a Freeview/DVD player).

The location of the Ysgubor cottage is perfect for walkers, cyclists and family get-togethers. There are plenty of walks from the cottage door and a lovely ten minute walk down the valley to the excellent local village pub and restaurant.
